The Library-Museum Room

Before the 1892 renovation, the east wing was occupied by farm help. From 1893-1927, the bedroom was occupied by Louise Endicott, her husband William occupying the adjoining Ivy Bedroom. Upon his mother’s death in 1927, William and his wife, Louise, relocated their bedrooms to the west wing. Needing more space for his extensive research, William Endicott, Jr. transformed the bedroom in 1927 into his study. The room currently houses an exhibit on Glen Magna called “Just a Farm”.
