Laid out and constructed in 1933, the garden named for Mary Crowinshield Endicott, was centered around a wide sod path edged with perennial beds which led to a lotus pool flanked with life-size marble figures. Enclosing the garden on the south east were five rows of espaliered apple trees bordered by a boxwood lined sod path which led to an iron gate. From here, pastoral vistas of the orchards and wooded forest to the south can bee seen. A large burr oak flanked by granite pedestals were topped with marble statues of cupids.
