Caretaker’s Cottage
Originally constructed as the Laundry House the building was partially built with wood salvaged during the mansion renovations in 1893. On its northeast side a tall white lattice fence with rambler roses growing on it enclosed the drying yard. William C. Endicott Jr. called the small structure their “Le Petit Trianon”.
