An elegant setting for small meetings, cocktail receptions,
employee recognition dinners, clambakes and other corporate events. Our experienced
Event Managers will assist you with all your planning needs.

The rooms inside the mansion provide a unique setting for small meetings up to 40 people or a
reception up to 100 when used together. A covered veranda along the south side of the mansion
overlooks the main lawn and gardens. For larger events tenting is available for groups up to 200.

CORPORATE FUNCTIONS
Rental of Glen Magna Farms includes exclusive access to the grounds, and the following rooms in the mansion:

First Floor: The Foyer, Drawing Room, Dining Room, Veranda, Kitchen, Little Parlor and Rest Room.

Second Floor: Two changing rooms connected by restroom, Gentlemen’s Rest Room, and Sitting Room.

The Mansion is heated but does not have air-conditioning. The first floor of the mansion is fully handicap accessible and meets the guidelines set forth by the American Disabilities Act (ADA).

CORPORATE RENTAL FEES
Corporate Rates not available Saturdays May through October.

Monday – Thursday 9am – 5pm $800 flat rate

Monday – Thursday 5pm – 11pm $250 / hr. with a 3 hour minimum

Sunday or Friday $250 / hr. with a 3 hour minimum

CURRENT FURNITURE INVENTORY:

(4) 30” high top cocktail tables (15) 36” round tables (20) 60” round tables

(125) Gold Ballroom chairs (inside only) (200) White Samsonite folding chairs (outdoors)

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENTS

1. A non-refundable deposit of one-half of the full rental fee must accompany the signed
    contract to reserve Glen Magna Farms on a definite basis.
2. The Society must receive the balance of the rental fee no later than, 30 days prior to your event.
3. Checks should be made payable to The Danvers Historical Society.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Notification of cancellation of a definite reservation is required in writing to The Society. Should The Society rebook the date with a comparable rental, The Society will refund one-half of the deposit paid.

LIQUOR POLICY

The Danvers Historical Society/Glen Magna Farms does not have a liquor license. The clients are responsible for providing their own liquor for the event. All bars must be hosted cash bars are not permitted. Service of alcoholic beverages is limited to 4.5 hours. Bartenders are needed for all bars and may be secured through your caterer. Self-service of alcohol is not allowed. Bars must close 30 minutes prior to the end of the function, however, sodas, mineral waters, juices may be served until the ending time. Beer Kegs are not permitted.

The following liquor stores will work on a consignment basis, provide delivery and pick up, and charge only for bottles opened.
