The Bride's Room

After 1892, this room was occupied by William Endicott Jr.’s sister, Mary Endicott Chamberlain on her many visits to Danvers. Mary married British statesman Joseph Chamberlain in 1888 and when they visited the Farm, Joseph probably occupied the adjoining Empire Room. Mary continued to visit Glen Magna until her death in 1957 at age 93.
